Little Lives… Big Needs…

The why:

Through our Hope Room Program, one of the resources foster caregivers often ask for are car seats, strollers, high chairs or other baby equipment. This year in particular, we have seen a LARGE increase in these types of requests. Since the beginning of 2026 alone, we have given out 7 car seats, 5 strollers, and 2 high chairs to caregivers in our community. Equipping a foster family with one car seat, one stroller, and one high chair costs an average of $350!

That’s where you come in!

Baby & toddler-specific items are an extra expense most caregivers do not anticipate or have on hand. To date, we have managed to meet these needs, but having a dedicated fund would allow us to continue providing these resources.

How You Can Help....

This Giving Tuesday, we are inviting our community to help us raise $3,500, which would cover the cost of 10 car seats, 10 strollers, and 10 highchairs!

Your generosity will go directly to our Little Lives, Big Needs Fund so we can continue to provide these items to our local foster families caring for babies and toddlers in the LC Valley and surrounding areas.

Not everyone can be a foster parent, but everyone can help care for the vulnerable babies, children, and youth in our community.
